What is hard enamel, and what's the difference between hard and soft?:
Soft enamel isn't actually soft, but it refers to a pin that only has the enamel partially filling the metal, meaning there's texture and a recessed look. It's a popular style and many people love the look and feel! We choose to make hard enamel pins, it's the same enamel as soft, except its filled to the brim then polished flat for a smooth shiny uniform feel.
